This carpenters tool box appears to made of 3/8" plywood covered with thin steel sheet metal veneer painted black. The handle was removed by the previous owner but it's in really nice shape and included in the sale of this tool box. The outside of the box measures approximately 32" long x 16" tall x 7" deep and it weighs in at 20.5 lbs. All of the latches and hinges work fine and are in good condition (There is no key for the lock). It features 2 brackets to hang a 2' level on and a 31" long x 3" wide x 1-3/4" deep slide out tray. It also has an 8" tall 3 hinge door on front that folds down. Not sure of the age of this box but it is well made with very nice craftsmanship. All of the metal veneer is formed very well and fits tight to the wood. About the only flaws are some light dings, scratches and scuffs, minor light corrosion. Mercari calculates these ridiculous shipping prices - Not me!
