Antique Clear / Aqua Mason's Ok Sauce Bottle - Small - Approx 6.75" Bottle is embossed OK SAUCE on the front, with 'OK' and "Chelsea' embossed on base. It dates from early twentieth century OK Sauce was first made in a renovated swimming pool in London called the Chelsea Works. The exact date production started is unknown, but it's believed to be some time in the 1880's. As late as the 1970's OK was the highest selling brown sauce in London, but by 1990 it was removed from sale in the UK and is now only made for the Asian market This example is in reasonable condition, but it does have some of wear and tear you might expect from an antique BARN FIND bottle. Chipped on top lip edge, and hazy glass.
